Hi, I’m Malin. You might already know me from the website, or maybe you stumbled here accidentally while looking for something else entirely. Either way, welcome. Pull up a chair.
This is Studio Notes. Think of it as the part of Malin Creates that doesn’t fit neatly into a portfolio or a services page. The in-between stuff. The real stuff.
I’ve been wanting a space like this for a while. Somewhere to share what’s actually going on in the studio, the projects I’m proud of, the process behind the work, and honestly, the less glamorous bits too. Running a design studio as a mum of two tiny humans and one very large lapdog doesn’t always look like the curated version you see on Instagram. Sometimes it’s inspired and flowing. Sometimes it’s a school pickup schedule held together with coffee and sheer determination.
So here’s what you can expect from this little corner of the site:
Project breakdowns and the thinking behind the work. Studio life as it actually is. What we’ve been listening to, reading, or obsessing over. The occasional honest post about what it’s like to run a small creative business. And probably a lot of Benji making an appearance.
I’ll be posting a couple of times a month, nothing too rigid, because frankly rigid doesn’t really suit me.
